For a homeowner's association to succeed it is critical for members to have three things present: Education, Communication & Involvement. Rosebrook University has been created to assist association members to become better educated about common-interest communities.
Education - The more that developers, boards, and residents understand about effective leadership, governance, and best practices; the greater the chance that the association will succeed.
Communication - The most common issue describe among homeowner association members is the lack of communication. Rosebrook is taking proactive steps to resolve any such issues. Among the most obvious is our website which provides a wealth of information. Subsequently,
Involvement - Unfortunately our sense of community is commonly limited to knowing our next door neighbors. Successful associations work together. Residents serve on committees and boards. Social events bring people together and foster understanding. This is critical in our diverse society. The board must involve the community in issues and recognize different viewpoints. At a minimum residents have a responsibility to attend the annual meeting.
